    This morning among my shopping were 4x1 liter packs of lactose free milk (dietary requirement) at the self serve checkout I was informed that limit was 2, when I pointed out I could buy much larger packs of ordinary milk so liters would be the same the assistant actually reached into my trolley and grabbed 2 cartons and then handed them to another to return to (full) shelf citing need to preserve stock levels so much for social distancing and cross contamination, I was then informed that if I tried to return to purchase more milk same day I would be refused!, as I use a lot of milk whilst stuck at home I will now need to make another trip out just for milk, so much for gov guidelines on limiting shopping trips! Epic fail on all counts by Tesco as I will now drive "unnecessarily" further to another supermarket which not only has no restriction but sell the same product at a third less and there was me trying to be responsible by using nearest supermarket regardless of poor value
