    Actual main coounter for all services is rarely open after 5 pm. Referral to front shop staff results in them not being trained to weigh large letters / signed for post. 4 visits resulted in unable to post 4 items. Told it is ok as we were open during day 9 - 5 so acceptable to advertise open 5 - 6, just dont use the service you require or come back within 9 - 5 day tomorrow.

    Tried to get hold of staff by phone and could get no answer. Tried the post office shop counter and could get no reply. Tried the 0345 number and ther was no option to speak to staff at Newton main Branch. Have quite a long walk to get to the P.O. so am not impressed at all,
