Within the Covid 19 guide lines, the Cinderford store is disgusting, no control over visitors at all, should be ashamed. -

Having visited the Cinderford store this morning, I was astonished to find a complete lack of management in the store with regards to trying to keep people and staff safe with regards to Covid19. When I arrived at approximately 9.45, there was no control outside of the store to manage the number of customers and so the store was busier than I felt comfortable with. People were also allowed to wander freely through the store and unfortunately a lot of people were totally ignoring the two metre rule which meant that in the fairly narrow isles, it was pretty impossible to avoid coming into close proximity with people face to face without constantly turning around. It was also alarmed to find in a couple of isles, staff were trying to stack shelves which meant the space to pass wash extremely restricted but they and the customers were not making any effort at all to create space to let each other pass. It was also extremely unsafe at the tills as where space is again restricted, people were having to pass other people who were trying to queue and were having to again pass each other far too closely, going against government guidelines. When I got to the till I asked the cashier if it would be possible to put in place a one way system around the store as has been implemented in other supermarkets and to have staff helping to direct people at the tills and “manage” people who re not observing the social distancing rules. There was a staff member restricting numbers of shoppers coming into the store as I left but I feel this should have been in place all morning right from opening. I also observed people shopping as a couple including a very elderly couple and I know that other stores have not allowed this. PLEASE can you put some stronger measures in place immediately to help prevent the spread of Corona virus and to help your customers and staff feel safe. -

Absolutely zero effort to implement and monitor social distancing when I visited Cinderford store this morning. Too many people in store, no one way system, staff stacking shelves in isles, no management of people at tills, people shopping as couples including elderly people. I felt extremely unsafe, please sort out immediately! -

Still not big enough ,the staff are great could do with more selections and more freezers ,but overall great little store .
