We have had many a light lunch in the Queen Street store, and are creatures of habit, and always have the sandwich collection, latte, and bring your scones home for our tea. Always thoroughly enjoyed our lunch but yesterday Bank Holiday Monday..........a real disappointment. The main fridge was not working and customers were asked to enquire at the coffee till. This we did, and the sandwich collection was brought out (2 packets) of the little fridge at the till area. Think that fridge was a far colder temperature and therefore unfortunately the sandwiches were completely tasteless. And another surprise, the little oatie biscuit served with our coffee, which was only Luke warm!!!!! Were soggy and stale. To carry on our tale of woe, the scones we came home with were hard and on the dry side.!!!!!!! Could not believe, everything went wrong when we usually have a lovely meal there. Hoping this won’t be repeated when, in after a good while we will return and hope everything back to your usual high standard. So sorry to give a bad review. John and Jacqui Fisher.
