I am so frustrated after another visit to the shop in Didsbury since all of the manned tills have been removed. it is jaw dropping in the middle of a pandemic, where hygiene is imperative, that these machines have been introduced, dirty at the best of times, I just stood inches away from a member of the public who not her fault) was sneezing as she used the self service till, her mask would only have caught some of the droplets, then immediately afterwards someone else went up to use the same self touch till, there was a huge queue and only one poor member of staff running from till to till to key in codes for queries, I asked for to see the manager to give feedback about the introduction of these tills and the negative impact it has on the whole shopping experience, she could not have been less interested, and only gave me a customer service number to call, which it transpires is a call centre in South Africa, is this a joke. when are you going to bring back at least some manned tills, I sincerely hope that there have been no redundancies from the brilliant staff in this store on the basis of introducing this ridiculous new regime, please can you forward an appropriate email address (not in south africa) where I can complain about the absolute contempt the Marks & Spencer clearly holds its customers and staff.
