Since the lockdown our daughters in Lichfield have arranged deliveries from Tesco, who seem to have far superior quality vegetables and fruit to Morrisons of Aldridge, our main shopping store for many years. it seems to me there is poor quality control in this store, and not enough thorough checking of perishable items. For example, a pack of large vine tomatoes purchased on the 15th June and having a sell by date of 18, started to go rotten the next day. Normally we would return goods, but this time we were reluctant to queue to return the item. Over the years we have found staff always pleasant and helpful, especially under the present circumstances. However, since our experience with Tesco we are very much tempted to abandon your store.
