Visited branch at Thorne Road retail park today, 13/10/17 at 18.00 hrs. I do not normally like to complain and make a fuss but due to the lack of customer service on this visit, I feel compelled to. I do not recall the name of the cashier who served us but all I can say is that she was on the till nearest to the exit door at the stated time of our visit. This member of staff displayed no customer service skills- there was not a hello to greet us or the customers who were infront of us. Upon needing a bag we received the reusable one. We had trouble opening it ( sides appeared stuck together) and the cashier did assist us. However after placing a few items of shopping inside the bag, we found one of the handles to be broken. I did ask the cashier for another one but she would not do this. We were in a hurry to get to a taxi otherwise we would have complained in-store. The cashier did not even say goodbye! While you may think this is a trivial matter to complain about as a customer I do expect good service Friendly enough to encourage us to revisit the store in the future. I did not on this visit. I propose that the importance of good customer service is reiterated to your staff in general and in particular the mentioned member of staff
