On visiting Asda last Thursday I put into my basket some yogurts for£1 whilst still looking, a assistant changed the price to £2 said when I put the yogarts in the basket they were £1 what would in be charged now which no thought she replyed £2. I asked to speak to a manager where he agreed with the assistant but if I made the point at check out they would give me the £1 back. The said manager said it was company policy up to 2.30pm you could change the price, as sometimes you have to many products to change first thing, is that the customers fault, apparently all retail stores have this practice, with no notification that prices can change up to 2.30 any day. As I am a pentioner and have had a family how many times over the years has this happened to without me knowing and how much extra money has this cost me, if this happens in all stores I really thing that retail should do something about it, my next email will be to trading standards and at this moment I wish I was on Facebook, because all my friends have never heard of this and they thing your manager dreamt this up, I really hope so, I await your comments.
